Participants are expected to come from Abu Dhabi, Egypt, the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Japan, Macao, Mongolia, Iran, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, the Philippines, Brunei, and Malaysia (Sarawak, Sabah, Penang and Kuala Lumpur).

Prize Money

This year, the regatta boasts a total prize pool of RM433,500, including both cash awards and championship trophies, making it one of the most lucrative dragon boat events in the region.
