Hosted on Pulau Tuba, just 5 km from Langkawi, this event offers participants a rare opportunity to run through one of Malaysia’s last traditionally inhabited islands—an ecosystem where time-tested lifestyles continue to thrive alongside untouched nature.
Pulau Tuba is widely recognised as an Islamic island, home to close-knit fishing communities that still practise ancestral methods of living. From hand-drawn well water to pandan mat weaving, the island represents operational continuity with the past while opening strategic doors for responsible tourism.
