How to Check STR 2026 Eligibility

The Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) 2026 program provides financial assistance to eligible Malaysian households and individuals. If your employees are unsure whether they qualify, the process to check and apply is simple — and it can be done entirely online.
As an employer, you don’t need to apply on their behalf, but you can guide them by sharing these instructions in your HR announcements, newsletters, or staff group chats.

1. Use the MySTR Portal

   Employees can visit the official STR website:

   Steps:
   Click “Log Masuk MySTR”.
   Select “Semakan Status” to view their current application status or payment details.

2. Update Information (If Needed)

   If there are changes in household details or income, employees can update their records online through the same portal.
   Examples of updates:
   Bank account information
   Dependent details (adding/removing children)
   Marital status changes
   Tip: Information should be updated at least once every three years or whenever there’s a significant life change.

3. Apply In Person (If Necessary)

   For those who prefer a manual process or lack internet access, applications can be submitted at any LHDN office nationwide.
   The STR 2026 form can be downloaded from the portal.
   First-time applicants should prepare:
   Copy of MyKad
   Proof of income
   Marriage certificate (if applying as a household)
   Child’s birth certificate (if applicable)
