League Standings Order
If two or more teams have the same number of points, the following tie-breaking criteria are applied in order:
- Goal Difference (GD) — Goals scored minus goals conceded.
- Goals Scored (GF) — The team with more goals scored ranks higher.
- Head-to-Head Results — Points earned in matches between the tied teams.
- Head-to-Head Goal Difference — Goal difference from those direct matches.
- Disciplinary Record — Fewer yellow/red cards rank higher.
- Drawing of Lots — If still tied after all criteria (rare).
Competition Format (2025–26)
- Each team plays home and away matches against every other club.
- A win adds 3 points to the total; a loss gives none.
- The team with the highest total points at the end of the season is crowned Malaysia Super League Champion.
- The bottom-placed teams may face relegation (subject to MFL rules).
