Malaysia’s monsoon cycle is shaped by large-scale climate drivers including the Northeast Monsoon, ocean temperature anomalies, and atmospheric circulation patterns. From November 2025 forward, rainfall distribution intensifies across the nation, with clear hotspots emerging in Kelantan , Terengganu, Pahang , and selected regions of Sabah and Sarawak . Conversely, western states such as Penang , Selangor , Kuala Lumpur , and Melaka show more moderate rainfall and lower operational risk.
