Who is Eligible for an eVisa?

Social Visit (Tourism): Nationals of the following countries can apply for an eVisa for social visits (tourism):

Afghanistan (VDR), Angola, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, China, Colombia, Congo Democratic Republic, Congo Republic, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Hong Kong (C.I/D.I), India, Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Liberia, Mali, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Niger, Pakistan, Rwanda, Serbia, Sri Lanka.  

Important Note: Citizens of China and India are granted a 30-day visa exemption for social visits from 1st December 2023 to 31st December 2026 for China and 31st December 2024 for India.

eVisa Validity and Duration of Stay:

  • The eVisa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

Documents Required for eVisa Application:

  • Latest passport-size studio photo: Ensure your photo meets the specified requirements.

eVisa Application Process:

  1. Apply online: Visit the MYVISA website and complete the online application form.
  2. Upload documents: Scan and upload all the required documents.
  3. Pay the fees: Pay the eVisa processing fee and service charge online.
  4. Wait for approval: The processing time is typically two (2) working days.
  5. Receive eVisa: You will receive your eVisa via email if your application is approved.  
  6. Print your eVisa: Print the eVisa on an A4-sized paper and carry it with you during your travels.
