Experience one of Sabah’s most dramatic nature combinations in a single day — from the eerie limestone depths of Gomantong Cave to a sunset wildlife cruise along the legendary Kinabatangan River. Expect bats, jungle sounds, rare wildlife sightings, and raw Bornean rainforest scenery.

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Sandakan or Sepilok, followed by a scenic drive into Sabah’s lush countryside before arriving at Gomantong Caves. Here, you’ll explore the fascinating limestone cavern system along wooden boardwalks, where millions of bats and swiftlets create a dramatic natural spectacle inside the towering chambers. After the cave visit, continue your journey toward the Kinabatangan region for a riverside lunch surrounded by rainforest serenity. In the late afternoon, set out on a wildlife cruise along the iconic Kinabatangan River, one of Borneo’s richest ecosystems, where you may spot proboscis monkeys, hornbills, crocodiles, and other exotic wildlife as the sun begins to set. The day concludes with a relaxing riverside dinner before returning to Sandakan in the evening.
