The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC25) is the world’s largest international gathering of investigative and data journalists. For the first time ever, this prestigious event will be held in Asia, hosted at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia from November 20 to 24, 2025.

Organized by GIJN and Malaysiakini, the conference will bring together over 1,500 journalists from around the world for five days of learning, collaboration, and networking. Attendees will have access to more than 150 expert-led panels, workshops, and sessions covering the latest tools, techniques, and trends in investigative reporting.

Participants will include Pulitzer Prize winners, pioneers in data journalism, and fearless reporters who have uncovered corruption, abuses of power, and human rights violations worldwide.
