Apple to Unveil iPhone 17 on September 10, Malaysia Release on September 19
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 — Apple has confirmed that its next major keynote, themed “Awe dropping”, will take place on September 10, 2025, at 1:00am Malaysian time. The event is expected to reveal the highly anticipated iPhone 17 lineup, along with several other new Apple products.
Malaysia Among First-Wave Launch Countries
Since the opening of Malaysia’s first Apple Store at The Exchange TRX, the country has joined the first-wave markets for iPhone launches. This means Malaysian customers will be able to purchase the iPhone 17 on the same day as the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia.
If Apple follows its traditional rollout, pre-orders will begin on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 8:00pm, with official availability in stores and deliveries starting on Friday, September 19, 2025.
What’s New in iPhone 17?
Apple is expected to refresh its lineup with four models:
- iPhone 17 (base model)
- iPhone 17 Air – a new replacement for the “Plus” series, touted as Apple’s thinnest and lightest iPhone ever
