The Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) is an Asian sports car racing endurance series created by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and based in Asia.

The Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) returns for the 2025–26 season with an action-packed schedule of six endurance races spread across three world-class circuits. Running from December 2025 to February 2026, the series will once again serve as the gateway to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, offering automatic invitations to class winners.

ALMS 2025–26 Calendar

The upcoming season will feature double-header weekends at each venue, with two races held on consecutive days:

The season will kick off under the tropical heat of Malaysia’s Sepang circuit before moving to the Dubai desert and concluding at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina under the lights.


Asian Le Mans Series Race Format

The Asian Le Mans Series keeps its tried-and-tested formula:

  • Six races, each lasting 4 hours.
  • Double-headers, ensuring back-to-back racing excitement at each venue.
  • Endurance challenge, requiring teams to balance speed, strategy, and reliability.
  • Le Mans pathway – Class champions will earn a spot on the grid at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, the crown jewel of endurance racing.

Classes

The 2025–26 ALMS grid will feature three competitive categories:

  • LMP2 – Top-tier prototypes, bringing factory-backed efforts and professional teams.
  • LMP3 – A stepping stone for young drivers and smaller teams to gain endurance experience.
  • GT – Featuring FIA GT3-spec machinery from leading brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, and more.

A key rule remains in place: each entry must include at least one Bronze-rated driver, ensuring opportunities for rising talents and amateur racers to compete alongside seasoned professionals.

The 48-strong entry list features 33 teams from 18 nations, including two from China, one from Japan, one from Thailand, two from Malaysia, and one from New Zealand.
